The Miyabi Black 5000MCD is a true work of art. The blade is crafted from MC66 micro-carbide powdered steel, ice-hardened to an impressive 66 HRC, which provides an exceptionally sharp and long-lasting edge.
The blade is wrapped in 132 additional layers of steel, resulting in a stunning floral Damascus pattern. The handle of the Miyabi Black is made from black ash wood, a unique material whose grain and dark color beautifully contrast with the blade’s Damascus design.
The handle is shaped in the traditional D-profile, offering optimal ergonomics for fatigue-free cutting in the kitchen. Handcrafted in Seki, Japan.
